Barrow Neurological Institute offers conferences each week that cover various medical conditions. Under the direction of Drs. William White, Andrew Little, and Laura Knecht, the Barrow Pituitary Center offers educational talks on the third Tuesday of each month led by our neurosurgical residents and endocrine fellows affiliated with the VA Endocrine Program. Literature reviews and case presentations are discussed focusing on topics such as Cushing’s disease, Acromegaly, Pituitary Adenomas and other pituitary related disorders.

Radiotherapy for Pituitary Adenomas was recorded at our November Neuroendocrine Conference. The speaker, Dr. David Xu, is highly respected for his work in this field. Keep in mind this presentation is intended for an audience of medical professionals and contains graphic representation of surgical techniques. If you have any questions about the talk, please post them to this blog and I will do my best to answer them.
