Continuing education for medical professionals is strongly pursued at Barrow Neurological Institute and conferences are offered every month that cover various medical conditions.

Under the direction of Drs. William White, Andrew Little, and Laura Knecht, the Barrow Pituitary Center offers educational talks the third Tuesday of each month lead by Barrow’s neurosurgical residents and endocrine fellows affiliated with the VA Endocrine Program. Literature reviews and case presentations are discussed focusing on topics such as Cushing’s disease, Acromegaly, Pituitary Adenomas and other pituitary related disorders.

“Medical and Surgical Management of Thyrotropin Secreting Adenomas”, is now available online. Our speaker, Dr. Randy Hlubek , is a neurosurgery resident at Barrow and is highly respected for his work in this field.

Keep in mind this was intended for an audience of medical professionals, so if you don’t understand some of the language used in the talk you can post your questions here.
